Privacy policy
This policy explains what The Augmen Group, Inc. (Augmen Digital) collects through augmendigital.com and how we use it, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, we receive what you enter: your name, mobile number, and, depending on the form, your business name, industry, email, message, the best time to call you and your answers to the form's questions. We also note which page you sent it from and the ad or link that brought you to the site.
How we use it
- To contact you about your inquiry and, if it's a fit, our services.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you.
We don't sell your details.
Videos
Videos on this site are hosted by YouTube. Each video's preview image is loaded from YouTube with the page; the player itself loads when you press play (or, if a page is set to start a video by itself, once the page has loaded). From then on, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Hosting
This site runs on Cloudflare, which processes the technical details of each visit (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics and Meta's (Facebook's) pixel and Conversions API to count visits and to measure how our ads perform. They use cookies (small files your browser keeps) set on augmendigital.com, and Meta's pixel can also read Meta's own cookies if you use Facebook or Instagram. Our own server sends some of the same information to Meta and Google directly.
- On every visit they receive the page you view, the ad or link that brought you here, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), your browser and device, and random IDs from these cookies so repeat visits can be counted. Our own visitor ID is scrambled before it is sent.
- When you send a form, they're told that a form was sent, not what you wrote. On our ad pages (the ones you reach from an ad to sign up), we also send Meta your email address, mobile number and name, scrambled one way (hashed) on our server first, so Meta can match the sign-up to the ad that led to it without receiving your details in readable form.
- Afterwards, as your enquiry moves along (we contact you, you book or attend a call, you become a client, or we close it), we tell Meta that step, again with your details hashed and, when you become a client, the value of the deal, so Meta can learn which ads bring in clients.
We do this to see how many people visit, which ads bring in enquiries, and to help Meta show our ads to people likely to be interested. Meta and Google handle what they receive under their own privacy policies and may process it outside the Philippines.
Your choices and rights
- Delete or block cookies in your browser's settings.
- Limit how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Meta ad preferences, and how Google does in My Ad Center.
- Turn off Google Analytics in your browser with Google's opt-out add-on.
Some of this measurement runs through our own server, so blocking Meta's or Google's scripts doesn't stop all of it.
How long we keep it: what you send us in a form, for as long as we're in touch or working together, or until you ask us to delete it. Our cookies last up to six months, Google Analytics' up to two years.
For anything about your personal data, write to hello@augmendigital.com. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission.
